Time, space and movement

What makes Joe’s yoga classes different? Aside from generous helpings of mindful awareness (and savasana, if you’re lucky), not heaps.

Simply, my yoga classes can be a foundation for generating more fulfilled living.

I teach movement (asana) yoga classes, drawing on elements from vinyasa, hatha, yin and power yoga. There isn’t rigidity to one style per class.

My classes are usually structured around a specific intention, which varies with the time of day, seasons, and mood on the mat. Picture…

…as spring hurtles into summer, an hour flowing to create sensations of calm and spaciousness amid full-up calendars, streets and beaches—your opportunity to stretch and decompress.

Private classes

I was raised in yoga harnessing a softer style of listening to and honouring the body; tuning into intuition and the felt sense and using techniques to—literally—unwind and rewire the mind.

We will use a blend of movement and stillness, strength and surrender, to nourish your body and foster a deeper presence.

My private classes are hosted at your home or outdoor space when weather permits. We will get to know each other so that we practise with the style and intensity that benefits you most.
