What makes Joe’s yoga classes different? Aside from extra helpings of mindful awareness and savasana, not heaps. As for yoga teachers and practisers alike, classes, simply, are a foundation for fulfilled living.

I teach hatha, vinyasa, vinyasa, yin and power yoga classes, and other guided meditations. And there isn’t rigidity to one style per class.

My classes are usually structured around a specific intention, which varies with the time of day, time of year, and mood on the mat.

Picture, as spring makes way for summer, a guided flow that promotes a sense of spaciousness and calm amid fast-filling diaries, streets and beaches.

I was trained and raised in yoga following a softer style of listening to and honouring the body; tuning into our intuition and the felt sense and using techniques to—literally—unwind the mind.

We will use a curated blend of movement and stillness, strength and surrender, to nourish your body and work towards a deeper presence. 

My private classes are hosted at your home or a suitable outdoor space when weather permits. My price includes an upfront meeting where we get to know each other so that we practise in a style and intensity that benefits you most.
